AFRICAN UNION DAY ‘23
Modelling the African Union Summit of Heads of State was a valuable educational activity that helped our pupils learn about the African Union, its objectives, and operations. It also gave them an opportunity to develop important skills such as public speaking, critical thinking, research, and collaboration.
By simulating a summit of Heads of State, the students learnt about decision-making, negotiation, and the challenges involved in reaching a consensus among different parties. It also further helped our students develop a better understanding of the complexities of global governance and the role that organizations like the African Union play in promoting peace, security, and development across the region.
